Rumour is the single unidentified 748 order filed last month, wasn't for one of the Transaero aircraft (my money was on LN1523, damn), and it is for LN1495. Who would expect that to happen! For what it is worth after three months: new customer for L/N 1495 is Qatar Amiri Flight

We saw a dramatic reduction of white tail frames for 747-8 recently, Boeing is doing very well with them this year.
LN1495 & LN1535 are going to Qatar, LN1519 & LN1523 will be the future Air Force One. Normal production (not white tail) of LN1541 for AirBridgeCargo, and LN1542-1546 for UPS.
There are only two B747-8 White Tail at the moment, without a confirmed destination.
LN1435 - Reg N828BA, passenger version, test frame no.2, Lufthansa NTU, 6 years old. Storage since 21 May 2015, but out of storage on 28 July 2017. Rumoured to be used as test bed for new Air Force One systems, although I believe Boeing would prefer to sell it if possible as they have quite a few 744 (Boeing Aircraft Holding has 6 744F, and Boeing Capital Corp has 2 744 and 4 744F including a quite new frame LN1282) can be used as test bed (unless something really 748 specific).
LN1437 - Reg N770BA, Cargo version, Atlas NTU, 4 years old. Storage since 12 Nov 2014, out of storage 7 Feb 2017. Boeing was hoping to sell this frame to UPS, without success. I won't be surprised if this frame become one of the two cargo frames ordered by Qatar. AAB likes bargain, this would be perfect opportunity for him.

I slightly disagree with the "whatever the price" quote, if that's the case, LN1437 would have gone to UPS already.

Not so sure - just count how much fuel it costs to haul 1 kg over for 20 years/how much the fuel costs (in the future ?) i.e. the weight might be sooooo high that even a big price drop would not compensate. And of course the question remains how much down BA is ready to go.

And of course the question remains how much down BA is ready to go. I know there were a lot of talks on the excess weight on this frame (because we all have heard that the weight was the reason been given when Atlas rejected this frame, although this was never official), but I really not buying to that today.
If you consider there were 15 frames (LN1420 to LN1433, plus LN1436) all made before LN1437, and they've all found a home already with Cargolux, Nippon Cargo, Korean Air Cargo, Cathay Pacific, Saudi Cargo, ABC, 6 different airlines. I don't believe LN1437 would be that different from them, and expecting a huge reduction on price because of over weight is unreasonable (although potential buyer now could bargain on the age of the frame).
Let's wait and see which airline will eventually take this frame, my guess is Qatar, ABC, or Cargolux on descending order.

I have one source confirming the registration of LN1495 will be A7-HHF (https://tykesaeroblog.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/qatar-amiri-flight-747-bbj-test-flight.html), and two sources confirmed the C1 flight was yesterday. So this frame will be delivered very soon.
Also, one source suggest LN1437 is going to Qatar Cargo, as I predicted.
Looks like Qatar bought three white tail in one go, LN1437, LN1495 and LN1535.
