several sources, including CNN and this one reported that Emirates would stop flying over Iraq following the MH17 crash. Fact is, if you look at FR24, they are still flying over Iraq as if nothing ever happened. Any thoughts about this?

Emirates changed routes, all planes avoid Iraq airspace if you look at Flightradar24.com ... I wonder how much this costs in extra fuel etc.

Emirates changed routes, all planes avoid Iraq airspace if you look at Flightradar24.com ... last night they did, this morning several aircraft on their way to Europe are back over Iraq. Seems like they avoid Iraq consequently only during the night? I find it very strange to announce such a step in public and then not to follow the announcement strictly.
