The three Hong Hong A350's that were delivered on the last day of 2018 were listed in the O+D sheets as "operated by Hong Kong Airlines" even though they never left Toulouse. The last sheet (March) now has two changed to "operated by Undisclosed".
Anybody here who knows the reason?

They’ve been sold to lesser, and it is very unlikely that HK airlines will be able to actually fly them due to their financial situation and uncertain future. HNA is not officially selling them, but never say never with HNA is going through.
Most likely they already decided not to take the delivery at all, so the lesser now need to find new operators for them.
To answer the question above, the lesser do not want to be named.

Some updates about the contractually delivered A350s originally for Hong Kong Airlines: (may not be true and possibly outdated) B-LGF, B-LGG and B-LGI were planned to be taken over by HU (Hainan Airlines) and got registrations: B-308G, B-308H and B308J respectively. But currently there's no information indicating if this plan's been still going through.

More updates: digitalairliners.com/2019/06/06/log-toulouse-blagnac-tls-06-06-2019/So in the latest log it does seem like new registrations have been applied on MSN 251 and MSN 260. But we still have to wait and see what happens next.

I notice that FlightGlobal has invented new serial numbers for the A350. They also mention orders that Airbus has never heard about

The piece of good news for HNA is “Hainan will also borrow $234 million from China Development Bank to help with the purchase.”.
CDB, a state bank, will provide funding. Until now this wasn’t possible, this may indicate that HNA finally won the support of government help and state banks now taking part of HNA rescue plan.
This could explain why MSN308 (and MSN283?) is at flightline.
