Knowing what your main competitor is having for the next ten years (or fifteen in BA case ), is crucially important to help you make an informed decision on the final seat design/choice .
Even that means a couple of months delay on delivery, the advantage on seat is more important for VS. Virgins Aircraft come first, so I guess there seats are all ready "designed" as they are being installed now ! Ahead of BAs ! Guess what delayed VS planes from March delivery?

Any ideas how many Virgins frames expected to be delivered this year? As if Virgin Atlantic is reading this forum, the article in the above tweet says 4 aircraft this year.

Another article on the same: PICTURES: Virgin Atlantic replaces Flying Lady motif on A350-1000 02 April, 2019 SOURCE: Flight Dashboard BY: Lewis Harper London www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/pictures-virgin-atlantic-replaces-flying-lady-motif-457131/The longstanding "Flying Lady" motif will not feature on Virgin Atlantic's incoming Airbus A350-1000s, as the UK carrier is instead adopting range of "Flying Icons" that reflect a focus on diversity and inclusion. Oh come on UK - what IS happening to us?!
