If Virgin was determined to cancel the order, this was the best opportunity. So, I cannot help thinking that they truly intend to keep their options open.

At the current A380 status, it might be that Airbus is paying Virgin to keep these options. And I am not joking.

As I promised full delivery schedule for virgin a350-1000 orders: 2019 3x (from Airbus) 2020 5x (3 from Airbus + 2 from ALC) 2021 4x (2 from Airbus + 2 from ALC) 2022 1x (lease option with ALC) source: ATDB
