This could be the opportunity for Airbus to develop a true A359ULR by spreading the development cost between the 359F and 359ULR. Just like Boeing did with the 777-200LR and 777F. What do you all think?

This will happen some day. When depends on market demands and Airbus' resource management.
As long as Airbus struggles to deliver its backlog, however, I don't see them introducing new verions that would compete with existing ones for an unchanged number of production slots.

I thought they want to order more A350 and perhaps cancel few 777X Maybe they should get that done first ? lol
