This aircraft was seen at the delivery centre in December. Perhaps it was delivered in 2017?

This aircraft was seen at the delivery centre in December. Perhaps it was delivered in 2017? I assume so, but it is still the first 2018 Airbus delivery flight.

My attempt at translation : "It was a very good year. Deliveries in December 2017 exceeded the December 2016 number (111). As we had delivered more than 591 planes before the end of November, the yearly total exceeds 700".

some comment regarding CAAC certificate regarding the new types which cause "significant" delay Getting approval from the Chinese regulator has often come closely times around political visits that accompany other deals. Boeing won Chinese certification for its single-aisle 737 Max in mid-October, just before a visit to the country by President Trump in November. wonder when A350 will be CAAC certified .... www.wthitv.com/content/national/469028293.html?ref=293

The P&W-engined version of the A321neo having just received CAAC certification suggests that there is no major political roadblock, probably some ongoing negociation.

It is sad all this undeliverable frames because of Chines certification delays, at least the P&W A321neo seems now to be certified.
But, looking at the whole, no deliveries of any frames seem to take off this January, even though there seem to be quite a bit of undelivered stock on hand, apart from A350 destined for China or Qatar.
