I think there are two figures here been confused. The website run by mtrunz is fabulous, however it is a very big task. I think perhaps some frames been missed? For example, A330 MSN1896 delivered on 15 Dec wasn't showing on that site? Also, Airbus is talking about 800 contractual delivery, and am I right that site is tracking delivery flight only? Because we knew the two A339neo has been delivered to TAP a few days ago but not fly away until January, same as the two LATAM/HNA A359 in TLS. If you include all those contractually delivered frames, then I think Airbus is not far away from the 800 target. Thank you. It is some work but I build my own tools to get a good handle on all of it Thats right, i don't keep track of contractual deliveries, because unless you work at Airbus and know all the details, they can sign off on an aircraft and you don't know about it until the next month when it shows in their monthly order/delivery spreadsheet. When they actually leave the FAL than you know for sure its been Delivered. This is why I have a disclaimer at the bottom saying that the values on the Project will never be the exactly the same as the official values. Its really as simple as that. btw...if there is something missing on the site, you could always let me know, either on here, via the Project social media, there is a Discord server as well as there is a tool on the site itself that allows anybody who has registered to suggest addition/changes for each Aircraft. Just makes sure that if I missed a Delivery to show proof it actually left

Big appretiation for MTRUNZ work but please be realistic :
He is very diligent OUTSIDER trying for us fans to trace the flow of planes. His only reliable source of current information are the flight tracking information sytems i.e. he can track if the plane left the manufacturers premises and landed at customers site. That is all.
i.e. Some time ago I was the one asking him after the xls file is out to somehow "corelate" it with the data on his site - was silently refused - at the time I did not understood, but now I see his logic as sound. His data are consistent and give us some information about delivery flights. We do know well that (specifically around the end of the year) there is MANY planes which are contractually delivered but stay in TLS, XFW or... we can point frames even over a year before they go out. He has no way knowing (for sure) what is happening with those - so his site tracks those as not delivered and indeed the delivery flight did not occured yet. Up to that we do know that it happens that some flights are omitted from the flight tracking systems from various reasons, so....
Once more HUGE "THANK YOU" for your work on you nice site - and for ongoing improvements !!!

Perhaps on a corporate level it might not look great, but If the final numbers are around this area, it’s pretty good! The employees at Airbus should be more than proud of themselves. On a personal note I was well aware of all the crazy number of flights and planned accordingly. I woke up at 6am every weekday between October and the December holidays. I didn’t need to do that, but I wanted too keep my project as up to date as possible for everybody during the busy times

These last few years, early January rumours about previous year production totals turned out to be on spot. Airbus aimed for more, and missed its own target. Yet, 790 is an excellent number, given all the roadblocks that had to cleared last year. The bar was probably set too high, but 800 was such an attractive goal ... Now, let's see Boeing's numbers.

Firstly, I want to say thank you mtrunz for the tremendous effort you've put into tracking production. It's one hell of a hobby you've got, more like a full-time job. Perhaps on a corporate level it might not look great, but If the final numbers are around this area, it’s pretty good! The employees at Airbus should be more than proud of themselves. I concur with this. Getting close to that number was quite an achievement given the headwinds they faced during the year. But as you point out, at a corporate level and investor point of view, they've missed the target and would likely be frowned upon. There's a couple of things to consider. When the 800 target was set, did it include the A220 deliveries as well. If it wasn't, this would add to the shortfall against their original target. Secondly, there is a tendency in the corporate world to lowball their expectations by some degree to be at least sure of beating it. I'd hope this wasn't one of those cases.
