What's happening as Production and Deliveries appear to have dropped quite dramatically.

Might have expected a push for the end of Q1 but Easter holidays may have held deliveries back.

Not sure how true this is, I've just heard that CAAC certification will be given before Europe-China signing new safety agreement in June.

Some progress in March with the backlog of delayed frames leaving TLS but no sign that the backlog is going to be cleared soon.
None of the delayed departure frames left in March.
The CAAC certification is still awaited so all 7 completed frames for mainland China are still held.
Cathay’s first -1000 has rolled out but lacks engines so delivery this month looks unlikely. Their third -1000, 188, has joined the list of delayed frames, making 22.
Qatar’s second -1000, 102, has made it to cabin fit.
100,106 and 143 are on the flightline but not moving forward as fast as other airline’s frames.
I’ll be interested to see if the next batch of Qatar frames ( 207,211,214,215 ) get delivered in regular timescales or get held up as well.

Good that 2 more of the delayed QR -900s were delivered in April, 100 and 143.
Other QR -900s have progressed to the flightline and painting.
Three further -900s , 207/211/214 appear to have been parked awaiting delivery of earlier frames.
The next 2 -1000s have progressed, one each for QR and CX , and will hopefully be delivered in June.
No hard news on CAAC certification with an eight delayed frame, 217 for CA, likely to join the backlog. Certification has been rumoured for June/July.

Geoff I would not be to dependent on lists of what frames are parked and what frames are in outfitting or painting. The production lists had most of the "delayed" Qatar A350-900 as parked or stored. Suddenly they come out of the cold painted and outfitted. In the last months only a few station 20 and not all painting hangers were shown as occupied, I assume the "parked" Qatar frame were occupying the rest. Now MSN100 and 143 are delivered, MSN106 has done two test flights, MSN114 is on the flight line awaiting first flight, 126 is outfitted being painted, MSN163 and 172 are in outfitting. I assume those delayed frames will not be delayed much longer. Regarding MSN207, 211 and 214, being parked, all 10 station 20 seem to be occupied as it is. It would be interesting to know, if all frames destined for China are parked outfitted and painted, ready to be delivered.

The Chinese Capital Airlines frames, need to be re-painted even before delivery. They are going to wear Hainan livery after all.
We just don’t know when and where they are going to be painted.
Tianjin frames may go to HU as well, but they could stay with GS, because their existing A330s have range issue when fly to New Zealand due to poor weather surrounding Auckland Airport in recent month - and its getting worth.

There continues to be a lot of work done at TLS on frames that are delayed in their departure. One more QR -900 has departed. There is hope that CAAC certification is imminent but no firm news.
At the beginning of 2018 there were 23 completed frames that had been delayed leaving TLS , including 2 owned by AerCap.
QR has taken delivery of 5 delayed frames including one -1000.
A further 6 frames are now delayed or will be delayed, up to and including MSN 215. This makes the total now 24.
MSN 217 for CA has flown and could be the first mainland China frame to leave TLS.
Details ;
-1000s total 10
QR 102,110,125,141,161,215 CX. 118,169,188,206
QR -900s total 7
114,126,163,172,207,211,214
Mainland China total 7
52,55,60,98,112,167,178
Getting these 24 frames delivered would be a big boost for Airbus.
