Two frames doing CAF today, MSN227 and MSN228. We could still see those two delivered this month.

Another update on progress being made with delivery of previously assembled A359s.
Deliveries in July were a second A350-1000 for CX and a further A350-900 for QR.
At the beginning of 2018 this inventory comprised 23 completed frames that had not left TLS , including 2 owned by AerCap.
QR has now taken delivery of 8 of these frames including two -1000. CX have taken delivery of two A350-1000s.
A further 6 frames have been added this year, up to and including MSN 215. This makes the total now 19.
It seems that CAAC certification for the A350 is now in place and deliveries will start in August.
QR has been slow taking their -1000s but MSN110 has now made it to the flightline.
Details ;
-1000s total 7
QR 110,125,141,161,215 CX. 169,206
QR -900s total 5
163,172,207,211,214
Mainland China total 7
52,55,60,98,112,167,178
Getting these 19 delivered quickly would be a big boost for Airbus morale, reputation and finances.

Geoff I would not call the A350-1000 frames completed at the end of 2017. Lots of rework, that is still ongoing, left at that time. Those frames were far from ready to be delivered. I would say there is no delay in deliveries of A350 frames, it takes the time it takes. I do not believe that Qatar deliveries will speed up, they are at a good pace now. CX deliveries were never late, the frames were getting delivered when they are ready at Airbus. Mainline China frames will start to be delivered and there you can add frames MSN217, 226, 231 and 239 to be delivered soon.

I am still not sure why Air China insist that they get the first A350 in mainland China.
Anyway, to ensure that happens, the delivery flight of MSN167 currently is scheduled to depart TLS exactly one hour ahead of the delivery flight of MSN60. Very interesting.
The first A350 commercial flight for CA is on 14 Aug, Sichuan’s first A350 commercial flight is on 18 Aug to PVG.

It's that time of the month again, expect to see some movement from flight line to delivery centre in the next few days (MSN235 already), plus a few CAF. Otherwise this August will have ultra low delivery number.
