Some play on words going on to try to dodge reality ! The above tweet says 'Lufthansa has not cancelled 2 #A350' ... Of course, if Airbus shows two LH A350s cancelled in January, then LH must have cancelled them.
Whether it was two aircraft from the initial order or - as probably was the case - two previously exercised options makes no difference, LH now has fewer firm orders than was the case one month earlier. Of course, LH may also now have two additional purchase options, but nobody knows whether these will be firmed up or not.

What a "Trumpesque" tweet.
Airbus has removed two firm Lufthansa orders from their books, thus they have had two cancellations of firm orders. Simple as that

Airbus to cut A330 output and keep A350 rate level By David Kaminski-Morrow13 February 2020 www.flightglobal.com/news/airbus-to-cut-a330-output-and-keep-a350-rate-level/136729.articleAirbus is to cut production of its A330 line to 40 aircraft this year, and will keep A350 monthly output to between nine and 10 aircraft. The decision is a consequence of “overall customer demand” in the twin-aisle sector, says the airframer. Chief executive Guillaume Faury, speaking in Toulouse on 13 February, said the airframer “wanted to have a level of production reflecting demand moving forward” and that the decision reflected Airbus’s understanding of the “capacity of the market”.
I have posted the same on the A330neo thread.
