LN1520 now painted and presumably will be next delivered ; Original uploaded by WoodysAeroimges, see : www.flickr.com/photos/woodysaeroimages/26063451103/Detailed aircraft data : L/N 1520 - 747-83QF, RC673, serial number 60119 , N841BA, G-CLAB, leased to Cargo Logicair, owner : Boeing Capital Corporation, was painted in second Seattle Seahawks livery , roll-out June 02 2015, F/F June 29 2015, Paint hangar roll out July 19 2015. Ferried to Victorville (VCV) at April 14 2016 for paint into adapted ABC livery, Returned at April 26, Boeing customer identification code BGU/CKH. Cargo Logicair is apparently another subsidiary of Volga Dnepr. Geoff Could on one count that as the first frame of the 20 frame MOU between Volga Dnepr and Boeing? It's the 3rd already, the 1st of the 20-frame MoU was delivered in 2015. The planes are leased from Boeing Capital.

The planes are leased from Boeing Capital. Well, if we start with deliveries after the MoU, I believe it will be the third. ABC's 6th frame, the first outside Volga-Dnepr's original order for 5, was placed and delivered in late 2014. That order was listed as Air Bridge Cargo Arilines LLC, instead of being under Volga, so I assume that was the first frame that was leased via the Boeing Capital arm. The subsequent 2 orders and deliveries in late 2015 have also been listed under that same group and appear to be financed the same way. I suppose it is possible that the MoU from PAS 2015 includes the late 2014 frame, but without the firmer details that we have stated are missing, I would think that it would not be counted as part of the 20 MoU.

They should be treated as delivered to Boeing - since he is the owner who is leasing it out (Just kidding)

Geoff As I mentioned above, the latest 2 have been moved to be listed under the Air Bridge Cargo LLC customer name, which is apparently how Volga is accepting delivery of the leased frames. I do recall them being listed as undisclosed initially upon delivery, but they were subsequently moved to the current line item. Since 1520 appears to be financed the same way, I assume it will be listed under the Air Bridge Cargo LLC line as well. It will be interesting to see if ABC makes a direct purchase, whether or not it then gets listed under the Volga-Dnepr line, along with their original 5 frames.

I strongly doubt they are in a position to pay directly for the plane. I do believe that the deal they get from Boing is too good to not accept.
