See the update in that thread, I think MSN160 will just do fine.

Oups bye bye October then, just one delivery... If deliveries resume in November there should be more for November and December

OK let's be optimists - we might see a record - it is not out of reality.

You could be right s543, if Airbus meets its target of 30 (which I doubt), there would be 8 frames to be delivered by year-end... of which 2 would be delivered in November (MSN164-EK MSN143-QR), one that should be delivered in November (MSN145-QR), one that might be delivered in November (MSN165-EK), and still 4 more for December (MSN168-MSN169-EK MSN160-QR4 MSN166-EY1), so if MSN165 makes it in December we'll still have the record of 5 deliveries in one month, and if for some reason MSN145-QR3 doesn't make it in November there would be chances to have 6 deliveries in December... However, if frames would slip from November to December, there would be chances for others to slip from December to January.... (MSN169-EK? MSN160-QR?).. We'll see......

But still I do believe that from various reporting issues slip from one month to the next is not a problem, however slip from a year is much bigger problem. Let's hope. Also it is over 400 mil USD which would be visible in gross sales etc.... But as always: "we will see"

There seems to be a general issue (slower than usual production in XFW), and a QR issue (unusual number of test flights before delivery). As the reasons are unclear, it is difficult to be positive. If this is linked to the door issue, the consequences are unclear. I still hope Airbus to deliver 30 A380s as planned.

Qatar announced yesterday they will start flying to Bangkok with their A380 beginning December 1st. Does that mean they are sure to have three by then as they use their No. 1 for LHR and will use No. 2 for CDG?

Does that mean they are sure to have three by then I would imagine so, at least being an agreement between AB and QR, ........................................................................for now...

one that might be delivered in November (MSN165-EK), so if MSN165 makes it in December we'll still have the record of 5 deliveries in one month, and if for some reason MSN145-QR3 doesn't make it in November there would be chances to have 6 deliveries in December... MSN165 rolled out 2 days ago and is already doing taxi tests, including the RTO.
