Has this been confirmed by Airbus yet? The impending order was already put out to the press a few weeks ago. In other news, Air China says orders 100 Airbus A320 jets worth $8.8 billion. - Air China said in a statement it would acquire 60 of the aircraft for itself and 40 would be bought by its subsidiary Shenzhen Airlines. - The aircraft are set to be delivered in stages from 2014 to 2020. - As part of the transaction, Airbus agreed to buy back six larger A340 series aircraft, added Air China.

Quite an exclusive relationship with Airbus. Tony Fernandes also named his 100th aircraft after Louis Gallois. But the question is, given how airlines like Indigo and GoAir already have large orders too and others having problems with profitability, is there going to be an overcapacity problem in India?

Guess most or many of the ones for CA will be assembled in TSN, and all of them will be 320-classics?

Once the NEOs are in production, I take it that the A320CEOs cannot be called "Current Engine Option". But I think it can be considered as "Classic Engine Option" then?

When I read the abbreviation "CEO" for the first time (in relation to the A320) my initial thought was that it meant "classic engine option"...

Seems now like the mix will be 40 CEOs and 60 NEOs
