it's more than likely for legal reasons, however, why would the paper type"allegedly"? it's either they installed the equipment or they didn't.

'Allegedly' was used by Bloomberg because they were just repeating what the FAA said, without any independant input, while Boeing might offer a different charecterisation of the facts.

The Canadian government sent an aircraft to Casablanca, Morocco to pick up stranded tourists. It is now on the way back via Shannon and Keflavik. Reason for the stops?? It is C-GNLN, a 737-2B6C from Nolinor. It is a very appropriately choosen aircraft: it started it's life as CN-RMN of Royal Air Maroc.
