But they have heavy duty safety ropes around them all the time, haven't they? Did something fall onto them, like a loose crane, or did they fall down from a platform? All the best to all envolved and speedy recovery. Apparently, the 4th guy escaped because he was attached to safety harnesses, while the rest weren't when the platform collapsed. www.lutte-ouvriere-journal.org/?act=artl&num=2387&id=34

Look at it from the bright side: the delay is only 2 weeks, and training flights have already started. The situation would be worse if the metal was still grounded.

I think Delta broke a record for the longest A332 route. Starting 25 October, they will be placing one on the Detroit-Beijing route in place of a 777-200ER. AKL-LAX = 10,467 km DTW-PEK = 10,672 km EDIT: Forgot to add the link!
