Emirates seems to be sending MSN382 to the scrapper, thus reducing their A330-200 fleet to 20 aircraft

So, a 14 years old A332 is going to be scrapped. It's a bit early to my taste, but that seems to be the trend nowadays.

The EK 332 were in very heavy use - close to NB planes and she might have too high number of cycles for expensive D check.... on WB

So, a 14 years old A332 is going to be scrapped. It's a bit early to my taste, but that seems to be the trend nowadays. It's the lowest age I have ever heard for widebody that is to be scrapped after normal trouble free use.  |

The numbers are large - but something like 4-5 cycles per day + 11 hours/day. It should not be extreme ?
There are for sure planes with more than that still flying around.
Might there be some additional damage ?
