Odd, the second line in XFW and the one in Mobile don't have a door between those stations.

Maybe they plan to add more carbon fibre parts to the production or this same layout will be good for upcoming future programs as well? Certainly some revolution coming up. There is life beyound "Hangar 9"-layouts.

Odd, the second line in XFW and the one in Mobile don't have a door between those stations. My guess would be to reduce noise made by the robots working on joining body sections ?

Or the metal robot union asked for climate controled rooms?

MSN1 has only very recently been refurbished with "more electric" systems. And for the sharklet development work the wings got modified plus some tail structure repaired. Is it really time for retirement now? I think it is more some foto shooting for the current flight lab campaign.
With low time flights tests it should last for many more years.

I think it will be replaced by MSN6101. The work done for the electric systems, the sharklets, wing structure were for test purpose, not to extend the life of the frame, when all test are done the frame is expendable.
