Hi guys, i understand the windows are covered when an airplane is stored/parked is to prevent the UV rays from hitting the panels(and I assume weather the material). what is done about the heat absorbed by the airplane itself? after all you do have a giant tin can sitting in the sun all day. is it just allowed to heat and cool with the ambient temps of the day?

Seems like Aeroflot has taken delivery of 4 A321s over the last few days, "helping" Airbus to reduce their inventory. Looking at the MSN a few of them seems to have spent a few months ar XFW

Not sure where to put this but I thought its interesting. I found this on one of the A320 pilots I follow on Instagram: http://instagram.com/p/BIvPpXLhVz0 Looks like that particular airplane is using a different weather radar software than what is typically on an A320: RDR-4000 IntuVue. Perhaps this is the new standard now? I'm not sure. But I think its pretty cool. There is a full video below that explains how this new software works: |
