July numbers for Airbus and Boeing added to the sheet ; docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LK3NGr1kFwYC9bk8u52J3X28fTAr3kPttsktJYHt2U8/edit?pli=1A typically slow start to the quarter with Airbus surprisingly delivering more widebody passenger jets than Boeing, 12 to 8. Interesting, why no 77Ws in July?..... There are only 45 left in the orderbook and some of those probably won’t be built. Only 20 delivered in 7 months so far , very low monthly numbers will be normal from now on. There are more freighters to be built than -300ERs. Geoff

Geoff You seem to have made a small mistake under: Annual deliveries for current passenger aircraft, that should be more than zero for A350-900 in YTD. 2017 seems also to be off for the A350-900.

Interesting, why no 77Ws in July?..... As pointed out by Geoff, lack of orders is reducing production to a trickle. Complete absence of deliveries during one month, however, may as well denote some supply chain issues throughout Boeing's product range, as suggested in one of Leeham's latest stories.

We’ll get Boeing’s numbers on Tuesday but it looks like just one 777-300ER was delivered in August. Still the most successful widebody model of all with 790 delivered. Geoff

August numbers for Airbus and Boeing added to the sheet ; docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LK3NGr1kFwYC9bk8u52J3X28fTAr3kPttsktJYHt2U8/edit?pli=1Another slow month for both Airbus and Boeing with Boeing ahead 12 to 9. Neither are at the record levels seen in recent years and will need a late surge to match them. Passenger widebody deliveries for 2018 to date, with month of August total in brackets ; 787-9 77(7) A350-900 46(4) 777-300ER 24(4) A330-300. 16(3) A330-200. 11(1) includes 3 military MRTTs A380-800. 7(0) 787-10. 6(0) 787-8. 5(1) A350-1000. 5(1) In addition Boeing has delivered 23 freighters in 2018 ; 4x747, 12x767 and 7x777.
