This means MSN5 will be sold to QR when the test programme has been completed.

Plus, flying with a real airline cabin configuration will give Airbus the best experience for their tests.

There is a small slip in the schedule (first flight delayed to June 2014), but certification remains on track.

starbucks do you have a version of your spreadsheet so we could check how 'accurate' it is? If it is a certain percentage off we could work out what the actual FTH are likely to be.

starbucks do you have a version of your spreadsheet so we could check how 'accurate' it is? If it is a certain percentage off we could work out what the actual FTH are likely to be. Just posted this on a.net, was about to copy/paste it here: Taking that first slide and deleting all flights from after 28th March I came to the following: MSN1 - 18 hours too much, 700 vs 682 MSN2 - 2.5 hours too much 76.5 vs 74 MSN3 - 10.5 hrs short 523.5 vs 534 MSN4 - 8 hrs too much 81 vs 73 Adding up to me being 18 hours ahead of the program in my logbook Possible explanations: MSN1: Many flights at Chateauroux and Vatry without FR24 Coverage, for example AIB44WB on 30-1-2014, 11 hours logged as one flight, but it was impossible to know if WiBi stopped during that flight. MSN3: 11 hours short, probably lost when she was in Canada, we know she had been flying there but never showed up on FR24 doing local flights in Iqaluit. Same for Bolivia, but we had a good source there... MSN2: Probably some FR24 indescripancies, necligeable... MSN4: Most likely due to Spain All in all, I am happy with the results for now... Allthough I am thinking of incoorporating these published hours in the logbook, thoughts?

I think it would be great if you could show both your own estimates and actual data. EDIT : you should indeed be very satisfied with your results ! Great job, Starbucks !

thanks XWB, thanks starbucks! I am wondering about the 2500 FH target, is that what is absolutely needed for certification, or does it include any 'margin' if anything happens requiring an extension of flight test hours?.. Fabien
