I think Kevin wants to point out that this is not the first 242-tonne A330 to fly for Delta, while XWB means that this is the first to have received the Delta livery. Both statements are true.

The a/c in the photo above is MSN 1627, the first 242 tonne A330 for Delta.
The first 242 tonne A330 to fly was MSN 1628 and will go to Delta as well.

Will be registered as N822NW. I have not received any indication on routes, but I wouldn't be surprised if they will just place this on an AMS route initially.
