One would have thought if this comment is really true then they would definitely confirm the 6 remaining options.

One would have thought if this comment is really true then they would definitely confirm the 6 remaining options. I think that depends more on "we need them" than "we like them"

Well as one mentioned before they still have 6 747's flying for another 4/5 years. A few A330'S leaving the fleet in 4/5years time and maybe the B777's leaving in 7/8 yrs time. I know its far away but lead times for ordering aircraft are a good 3/4 yrs.

Sadly no news yet about BNE or MEL getting the updated cabins and So still stuck on short haul cabin for a 8 to 10HR flight. One Would think its about time to finish the replacement...Surely new route openings which are not yet announced are not important As this.
Yes some frequency increases for some european destinations but Also a reduction for SYD So Surely they will Have 2 or 3 aircraft spare by March/April 2018.

Thanks for that. Its good to know that is coming soon. Now I can book PE whenever I fly long haul now.
This will leave the airline with 1 or 2 frames available towards then end of 2018 to maybe look at expansion. But also still no news on the 6 options.
