xfw-spotter.blogspot.com/Based on the Friday's delivery, head honchos in Toulouse should feel really happy. Airbus needs just 100 more "Fridays" like that and they meet their delivery target....hahahahaha. all joking aside, that was a good day for Airbus. i like it..

not sure whether number is accurate if it is true, certainly a milestone The real 12000th was already at the beginning of May. End of April there were 11995 deliveries, just 5 to go.

May was a great month for Airbus deliveries ! Is the company now having an end-of-month delivery push instead of a year-end rush ?
A320 family production seems to be a steady flow : the May delivery figure (57) is a high one, and it's the same as March and April - a major improvement over previous years. That number is also consistent with Airbus' yearly guidance (890 deliveries in total) which in my opinion implies about 700 A320 family deliveries (58 per month on average).
A220 deliveries (4) do not show any significant difference with previous months. Let's hope they pick up later this year.
The most striking May feature, however, is a surge in widebody deliveries : 5 A330 (very good news), a record 13 A350s and 2 A380s make for a nice total of twenty.
The YTD delivery total shows an impressive + 90 over last year (YTD). At the end of May, Airbus already had performed the full-year projected increase. The year-end rush might indeed be less pronounced than in the past !

Mr. Enders would indeed feel proud if Airbus is now doing a end of month Push, as opposed to an End of year Push... that was one of his major goals.

Is the production rate higher than 3-4/month? Probably not ... Who knows ? Everything seems to be so slow ! When a marked improvement is implemented, we'll hear about it, for sure !

Look at sciing's post from may 8th. Acc. Spirit data production rate was 2/month last year and 3/month now. So delivery rate is in line with it. Read more: a380.boards.net/thread/2490/airbus-deliveries-2019?page=4#ixzz5qWbWhYkxi.e. more can not be produced since the parts are not made. I do believe the production will ramp-up higher when the second line in Mobile opens - probably that is the limit of Mirabel now.
